UTET Teacher Recruitment 2025: Registration begins at ukutet.com; apply by August 5

The Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE) has started the online registration process for the Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test (UTET) 2025. Interested candidates can now apply at the official website ukutet.com until 5 August 2025. This exam is required for candidates who want to become teachers in government or private schools across the state.

The UTET exam will be conducted on 27 September 2025 in two separate sessions, Paper 1 for teaching Classes 1 to 5 and Paper 2 for teaching Classes 6 to 8. The UTET qualification is valid for life and is a compulsory eligibility requirement for teaching positions in Uttarakhand.

Important Dates

For Paper 1 (Classes 1 to 5):

• Senior Secondary (Class 12) with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or 4-year B.El.Ed
• Or a graduate with 50% marks and a 2-year D.El.Ed
• Candidates in the final year of D.El.Ed may also apply

• Graduation and a 2-year B.Ed or equivalent qualification
• Or Senior Secondary with 50% marks and a 4-year B.El.Ed, B.A.B.Ed, or B.Sc.B.Ed
• Final-year B.Ed students are also eligible

2. Register using a valid mobile number and email ID
3. Fill in the application form with academic and personal details
4. Upload scanned copies of your photo, signature, and thumb impression
5. Pay the application fee online
6. Submit the form and download the confirmation page

Candidates are advised to apply well before the deadline and ensure all the information entered is correct. The correction window will be open from 9 to 12 August 2025 for any necessary changes.
