The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially announced the UPSC Civil Services Mains Result 2025. Candidates who appeared for the prestigious examination can now check their qualifying status on the commission's official website, upsc.gov.in.
The announcement clears the way for the final leg of the selection process for India's top civil services, including the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), and Indian Police Service (IPS).
The successful candidates who have cleared the UPSC Mains 2025 examination, which was conducted from August 22 to August 31, 2025, will now advance to the final stage: the Personality Test, commonly known as the Interview.
The UPSC will soon release the detailed schedule for these interviews, which are slated to be held at the UPSC office in Dholpur House, New Delhi. The commission will issue e-Summon Letters for the interview, which candidates must download from the official portal once available.

Step 1. Go to the official website at https://upsc.gov.in.
Step 2. On the homepage, find and click on the 'Examination' tab. From the dropdown menu, select 'Written Result'.
Step 3. Look for and click on the notification that reads "Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2025 – Written Result".
Step 4. The result will open as a PDF file containing a list of roll numbers. Use the search function (Ctrl+F) to find your roll number.
Step 5. Download the PDF and save a copy for your records and future reference.
