Tripura PSC Recruitment 2025: 172 Vacancies Released, Registration Starts January 10

The Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC) has released a notification inviting applications for 172 vacancies of Specialist Medical Officer. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website of TPSC at tpsc.tripura.gov.in. The registration process will begin on 10 January 2025 and close on 2 February 2025. Below are the details regarding eligibility, the selection process, and other important information.

Eligibility Criteria

• A postgraduate degree, DNB, or postgraduate diploma in a medical specialty recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC) for at least two years.
• A permanent registration certificate from any State Medical Council or NMC.
• A permanent resident certificate of Tripura.
• The maximum age limit is 40 years as of 2 February 2025.

Selection Process

The recruitment process involves two stages:

• Screening by API Score: This stage carries 85 marks.
• Interview/Viva: This stage carries 15 marks.
• The final merit list will be prepared based on the total marks obtained in the API score and the interview.

Application Fee

• Rs. 400 for general category candidates.
• Rs. 350 for ST, SC, BPL cardholders, and physically handicapped candidates.

Correction Window

Applicants can make corrections to their online application form after the submission window closes. The correction window will remain open for 7 days starting from the closing date of online application submission.
