The Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board (TNUSRB) has released the TNUSRB Constable Result 2025 on its official website, tnusrb.tn.gov.in. The result has been published in PDF format and contains the roll numbers of candidates shortlisted for the next stage of the selection process.
The result is for the Common Recruitment of Grade II Police Constables, Grade II Jail Warders and Firemen. Candidates who appeared for the written examination can now check whether they have qualified for the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
According to the official notification, a total of 18,689 candidates have been shortlisted after the written examination. These candidates are eligible to appear for the PMT and PET.
The board has shortlisted candidates in an approximate ratio of 1:5 against the total 3,644 vacancies notified under this recruitment drive. The recruitment aims to fill posts in the police, prison and fire services across Tamil Nadu.
Only those candidates whose roll numbers are listed in the result PDF will be allowed to move forward in the selection process.

Candidates who qualify in the written examination will first appear for the Physical Measurement Test. During the PMT, height and chest measurements will be checked as per the prescribed standards. This stage is qualifying in nature, and candidates who do not meet the requirements will not be allowed to proceed further.
Those who clear the PMT will be eligible for the Physical Efficiency Test, which carries 24 marks. The PET includes events such as running, rope climbing, and either long jump or high jump. An endurance test will also be conducted as part of the selection process.
