SSC JHT Recruitment 2025: Registration begins for 437 vacancies @ ssc.gov.in; apply by June 26

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has started the application process for the Combined Hindi Translators Examination 2025. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for various Hindi Translator posts on the official website ssc.gov.in. The last date to apply is 26 June 2025.

Number of Vacancies and Posts

This recruitment drive is being held to fill around 437 Group ‘B’ Non-Gazetted posts in different ministries, departments and organisations under the Government of India. The final number of vacancies will be confirmed by SSC in due course. Posts under this recruitment include:

• Junior Hindi Translator (JHT)
• Junior Translation Officer (JTO)
• Junior Translator (JT)
• Senior Hindi Translator (SHT)
• Senior Translator (ST)
• Sub-Inspector (Hindi Translator) in the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF)

The pay level for most posts, including JHT, JTO, JT, and Sub-Inspector (Hindi Translator), is Level-6, with a salary range of Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,12,400. For Senior Hindi Translator and Senior Translator posts, the pay level is Level-7, with a salary range of Rs. 44,900 to Rs. 1,42,400.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Visit the official website: ssc.gov.in
2. Click on the “Apply” tab and choose “Combined Hindi Translators Examination, 2025”
3. Click on “New Registration” if you are a new user and complete the registration process
4. Log in with your registration number and password
5. Fill in the application form and upload the required documents
6. Pay the application fee and review your application
7. Submit the form and download a copy for future use
