The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have announced the tentative CBT exam dates for the RRB RPF Constable 2024 recruitment. Candidates who applied for the CEN RPF 02/2024 (Constable) exam can check the exam dates on the official website of the RRB they applied under.
The RPF Constable CBT exam is tentatively scheduled to be held from March 2 to March 20, 2025. The exam will be 90 minutes long and consist of 120 questions. Candidates will receive one mark for each correct answer. There will be no penalty for unanswered questions, but a negative marking scheme of one-third marks will be applied for incorrect answers.
Minimum Passing Marks
The minimum passing percentage for the UR, EWS, and OBC-NCL categories is 35%, while the minimum passing percentage for SC and ST category candidates is 30%. The marks scored in the CBT will be used to shortlist candidates for the next stages of the recruitment process.
Admit Card
The link for viewing the exam city and date and downloading the travel authority for SC/ST candidates will be activated on the official websites of all RRBs ten days before the exam date. The admit card will be available for download on the website four days before the exam date mentioned in the exam city and date intimation link.
Recruitment Process
The recruitment process will involve an online Computer-Based Test (CBT), followed by a Physical Efficiency Test (PET), a Physical Measurement Test (PMT), and document verification (DV) for shortlisted candidates. Ten times the number of vacancies in each category for Male/Female/Ex-Servicemen will be called for these subsequent stages, based on merit.
