The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) will close the online application window for the recruitment of 434 Paramedical Staff tomorrow, September 8, 2025.

The application process, which commenced on August 9, 2025, on the official Indian Railways website (https://www.indianrailways.gov.in), will conclude at midnight. This is the final opportunity for eligible and interested medical professionals to submit their applications for these coveted government positions.

Vacancy Breakdown

The recruitment drive aims to fill a variety of critical paramedical roles within the railway health services. The post-wise vacancy distribution is as follows:

• Nursing Superintendent: 272 Posts
• Pharmacist Gr-III: 105 Posts
• Health & Malaria Inspector Gr-III: 33 Posts
• Lab Assistant Gr-III: 12 Posts
• Radiographer Gr-III: 4 Posts
• Dialysis Technician: 4 Posts
• ECG Technician: 4 Posts

Age Limit

The upper age limit varies by post. For the position of Nursing Superintendent, the maximum age is 40 years. For all other posts, the upper age limit is 33 years as of the crucial date mentioned in the official notification. Age relaxation is applicable for candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, and other reserved categories as per extant Government of India rules.

Educational Qualifications

Candidates must possess the following requisite qualifications specific to each post:

• Nursing Superintendent: Must hold a GNM or B.Sc. (Nursing) qualification.
• Pharmacist: Requires a Degree or Diploma in Pharmacy.
• Health & Malaria Inspector: Must have a B.Sc. degree in Chemistry.
• Lab Assistant: A Diploma in Medical Lab Technology (DMLT) is mandatory.
• Radiographer/ECG Technician: A relevant Diploma or Degree in the respective field is required.
• Dialysis Technician: Requires a B.Sc. and a Diploma in Hemodialysis.

The application fee is non-refundable and is categorized as:

• General / OBC / EWS candidates: Rs. 500/-
• SC / ST / EBC / Women / Minorities / Ex-Servicemen / Third Gender candidates: Rs. 250/-

Salary and Pay Scale

Selected candidates will be compensated with a attractive salary as per the 7th Central Pay Commission. The pay scale for the different posts is:

Nursing Superintendent: Level 7 (Rs. 44,900/-)

Health & Malaria Inspector / Dialysis Technician: Level 6 (Rs. 35,400/-)

Pharmacist / Radiographer: Level 5 (Rs. 29,200/-)

ECG Technician: Level 4 (Rs. 25,500/-)

Lab Assistant: Level 3 (Rs. 21,700/-)
