The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the notification for the Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) Graduate Level Recruitment 2025. A total of 5810 vacancies have been announced under Advertisement No. 06/2025. The online application process commenced today, October 21, 2025, and will remain open until November 20, 2025.
Aspiring candidates can submit their applications exclusively through the official RRB portal at rrbapply.gov.in. The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 5810 posts across various departments.
Important DatesCandidates must mark these critical deadlines on their calendars:
To be eligible for these posts, candidates must possess a Graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Regarding the age limit, the minimum age required is 18 years, and the maximum is 33 years as of January 1, 2026. There is age relaxation for reserved categories: SC and ST candidates have a relaxation of five years, and OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates have a relaxation of three years. For clarity, General and EWS category candidates must have been born between January 2, 1993, and January 1, 2008.
Multi-Stage Selection Process and Exam PatternThe selection of candidates will be a rigorous, multi-stage process. It begins with two Computer Based Tests (CBT). CBT-1 is common for all posts and will consist of 100 questions from General Awareness, Mathematics, and General Intelligence & Reasoning to be solved in 90 minutes. Based on the normalized scores of CBT-1, candidates will be shortlisted for CBT-2, which will have 120 questions to be answered in the same duration.
Following the CBTs, candidates will have to undergo skill tests specific to the posts they have applied for. For the posts of Station Master and Traffic Assistant, a Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) is required. For clerical posts such as Senior Clerk cum Typist and Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist, a Computer-Based Typing Skill Test (CBTST) is mandatory. The final stages include Document Verification and a Medical Examination. It is crucial to note that both CBTs will have a negative marking of one-third mark for each wrong answer.
