ISRO Recruitment 2025: Registration Begins for 320 Scientist/Engineer Posts, Apply by June 16

ISRO has opened applications for 320 Scientist/Engineer posts in Mechanical, Electronics, and Computer Science. Eligible candidates can apply online by 16 June 2025.

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has started the registration process for the recruitment of 320 Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ posts in the fields of Electronics, Mechanical, and Computer Science. The online application window opened on 27 May 2025, and the last date to submit the application is 16 June 2025.

This recruitment is open to candidates with an engineering degree in the relevant disciplines. The vacancies are for Group ‘A’ Gazetted posts under Advertisement No. ISRO:ICRB:02(EMC):2025. All applications must be submitted online through the official ISRO website www.isro.gov.in.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for these posts must hold a BE or B.Tech degree in:

  • Electronics & Communication Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Computer Science Engineering

They must have secured at least 65% marks or a CGPA of 6.84 out of 10. The maximum age limit is 28 years as on 16 June 2025. However, age relaxations are applicable for Government employees, Ex-Servicemen, and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities, as per Government rules.

Selection Process

The selection process includes two stages:

  • Written Test – This test will assess aptitude and arithmetic ability.
  • Interview – Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview in a ratio of 1:5 based on their written test scores.

The final selection will be made by giving equal weightage, 50% to the written test and 50% to the interview.

How to Apply

Candidates can apply for more than one post, but they must choose the same test centre for all posts. A separate application fee has to be paid for each post.

  1. Visit the ISRO official website: www.isro.gov.in
  2. Click on the recruitment section and find the relevant advertisement
  3. Register with a valid email ID
  4. Fill in the required details carefully
  5. Upload the necessary documents
  6. Pay the application fee
  7. Submit the form and save the registration number for future use

The registration number will be generated after successful submission. It must be preserved for further stages of the recruitment process. The email ID provided during registration must be active and accurate.
