IOCL Recruitment 2025: Apply for 1770 Technician and Trade Apprentice posts by June 2

Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has released a notification inviting applications for 1,770 apprentice posts under its Refineries Division. The recruitment is for both Technical and Non-Technical trades and is open to candidates across India. The last date to apply is 2 June 2025.

The apprenticeships will be offered at the following IOCL refinery locations:

• Guwahati, Digboi, Bongaigaon (Assam)
• Barauni (Bihar)
• Vadodara (Gujarat)
• Haldia (West Bengal)
• Mathura (Uttar Pradesh)
• Panipat (Haryana)
• Paradip (Odisha)

Candidates can apply for a trade/discipline of their choice at only one refinery unit.

Who Can Apply

1. Applicants must be Aged between 18 and 24 years as of 31 May 2025.
2. Holding a Class XII / Graduate / Diploma qualification in the relevant trade/discipline as a full-time regular course from a recognised Board, University or Institute.
3. Having at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST and PwBD candidates for reserved seats).
4. Candidates should also have a valid registration/enrolment number on the NAPS (for Trade Apprentices) or NATS (for Technician Apprentices) portal. Profiles must be completely updated and accurate.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on the aggregate marks obtained in the qualifying examination. No written test will be conducted. If two candidates score the same percentage, preference will be given to the older candidate. If both date of birth and marks are the same, matriculation marks will be considered. PwBD candidates will be considered against reserved seats if they meet relaxed eligibility norms.

3. Click on ‘Detailed Advertisement’ to read full details.
4. Click on ‘Click here to Register/Apply on NAPS/NATS’ to register.
5. Then click on ‘Click here to Apply Online on IOCL portal’ to submit your application.

Candidates must have an active email ID and mobile number that remain valid for at least one year. All communication will be done via website, email or SMS.
