The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has released the IB JIO Answer Key 2025, for the Junior Intelligence Officer (JIO) Grade 2/Tech exam. Candidates who appeared for the online exam can now check and download the answer key from the official websites www.mha.gov.in or www.ncs.gov.in.

The IB JIO Online Exam 2025 was held on 15 October 2025 to shortlist candidates for 394 vacancies of Junior Intelligence Officer (JIO) Grade 2/Technical posts in the Intelligence Bureau. The release of the answer key allows candidates to compare their responses with the official answers and estimate their likely scores before the results are declared.

To access the answer key, candidates must log in using their User ID and Password. The answer key includes the correct responses to all the questions asked in the online examination.

Candidates can also raise objections if they find any discrepancies or errors in the provisional answer key. To do this, they must provide valid supporting proof and pay the required objection fee within the given time limit.

The marking scheme followed in the IB JIO exam is as follows:

• Correct Answer: +1 mark
• Incorrect Answer: -0.25 mark (1/4th mark deduction)
• Unattempted Question: 0 mark

Candidates can calculate their tentative scores by adding up all the correct responses and deducting the marks for incorrect answers accordingly.

Candidates can follow the steps below to download the official answer key:

1. Visit the Ministry of Home Affairs’ official website www.mha.gov.in.
2. On the homepage, click on the link that says “IB JIO Grade-II/Tech Answer Key 2025.”
3. You will be redirected to the login page.
4. Enter your User ID, Password, and the Captcha code.
5. Click on “Login” to view the answer key.
6. Download and print the IB JIO Answer Key 2025 for reference.

The selection process for the post of Junior Intelligence Officer (JIO) Grade 2/Tech involves three stages:

• Online Exam – 100 marks
• Skill Test – 30 marks
• Interview/Personality Test – 20 marks

Candidates who qualify in all stages will be considered for final selection based on their overall performance.
