Haryana HSSC CET 2025 registration deadline extended; Check new date here

The HSSC CET 2025 registration deadline has been extended to 14 June. Aspirants must pay the fee by 16 June. No further extension will be allowed.

The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has extended the deadline to register for the Haryana Common Eligibility Test (CET) 2025. As per the new schedule, candidates can now complete their registration till 14 June 2025 (11:59 PM). The last date to pay the registration fee is 16 June 2025 (6 PM).

This extension, by two days, comes after many aspirants reported issues such as technical problems or difficulty in arranging the necessary documents in time. HSSC Chairman Himmat Singh shared the update on his official handle on X (formerly Twitter), and also made it clear that no further extensions will be given.

How to Apply for HSSC CET 2025

  1. To apply for the exam, candidates must follow the official process outlined below:
  2. Visit the official portal: hssc.gov.in
  3. Complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) to ensure security and avoid fraudulent sites.
  4. Log in and fill in your personal details exactly as per your Aadhaar and Matric certificate.
  5. Upload scanned documents within the required format and size.
  6. Pay the applicable registration fee:
  7. Review all the details carefully before submitting the form.
  8. After final submission, download and save the confirmation page and fee receipt.

Posts Available Through HSSC CET

The CET is conducted to shortlist candidates for various Group C and Group D posts under the Haryana government. These include roles such as:

  • Sectional Officer
  • Junior Engineer (Civil/Electrical)
  • Assistant Manager
  • Supervisor
  • Draftsman
  • Constable
  • Other technical and clerical roles

CET scores will remain valid for three years, giving candidates an opportunity to apply for different posts during that time and to improve their score in future attempts.

Selection Process

Shortlisting will be done based on CET scores, with 10 candidates called per vacancy for Group C positions. Those shortlisted will move on to the next stages, which may include:

  • Written Mains Exam
  • Skill Test (if required)
  • Document Verification
  • Final Selection
