The Central Bank of India has released a recruitment notification for 4500 Apprentice posts across the country. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online by visiting the official website centralbankofindia.co.in. The last date to apply is June 23, 2025, and the deadline to pay the application fee is June 25, 2025.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must hold a graduation degree in any discipline from a university recognised by the Government of India or possess equivalent qualifications. The age limit is between 20 and 28 years as of the date of notification. Only candidates registered on the NATS (National Apprenticeship Training Scheme) portal are eligible to apply.
Selection Process
The selection for the Apprentice posts will take place in two stages. First, candidates will have to appear for an online written examination conducted by the BFSI Sector Skill Council of India (BFSI SSC). This test will consist of 100 objective-type questions carrying a total of 100 marks. There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers, which may help candidates attempt all questions with confidence.

Candidates who clear the written test will then be required to take a Test of Local Language, depending on the state they are applying for. It is essential that candidates are proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding at least one of the local languages of the chosen state.
Those who qualify in both stages will undergo document verification. Based on the final merit, successful candidates will be offered digital apprenticeship contracts through the government’s official apprenticeship portals.
