BTSC has released the exam schedule for Staff Nurse Recruitment 2025. The CBT will be held from 30 July to 3 August. Admit card release dates will be announced soon.

The Bihar Technical Service Commission (BTSC) has announced the examination dates for the BTSC Staff Nurse Recruitment 2025. Candidates who have applied for the Staff Nurse post can now check the complete exam schedule on the official website btsc.bihar.gov.in.

Exam Dates and Shifts

As per the official notification issued by BTSC, the Written Competitive Examination (CBT) for the Staff Nurse posts will be conducted on 30 July, 31 July, and 1 August 2025. Additionally, the exam will also be held in the second shift on 3 August 2025. The examination will take place in multiple districts across Bihar and will be conducted in two shifts per day.

Recruitment Details

The application process for BTSC Staff Nurse 2025 was open from 25 April to 13 June 2025. A total of 11,389 posts are to be filled through this recruitment drive. The category-wise breakdown is as follows:

  • Unreserved: 3,134
  • Economically Weaker Section (EWS): 784
  • Scheduled Caste (SC): 2,853
  • Scheduled Tribe (ST): 121
  • Extremely Backward Classes (EBC): 3,117
  • Backward Classes (BC): 933
  • BC Women: 447
Selection Process

The selection will be done based on a Computer Based Test (CBT) and work experience. All candidates will be required to appear for the CBT as part of the first phase of selection.

Exam Pattern

The written examination will be objective in nature and will consist of a total of 100 multiple choice questions. The questions will be based on the General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) level syllabus prescribed by the department. The question paper will be available in both Hindi and English, and the duration of the exam will be two hours. The total marks will be 100, with one mark awarded for each correct answer. There will also be negative marking, 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. Since the exam will be conducted in more than one shift, the final result will be prepared using the normalisation process.
