BSF Head Constable RO RM Recruitment Notification Out for 1121 Vacancies, check details here

The Border Security Force (BSF) has released the recruitment notification for Head Constable (Radio Operator) and Head Constable (Radio Mechanic) posts under the BSF Communication Set up. A total of 1121 vacancies have been announced for the year 2025.

The detailed notification was issued on 18 August 2025 for Group ‘C’ (Non-Gazetted & Non Ministerial) combatised posts. These posts are temporary in nature but are expected to become permanent later.

Important Dates

As per the official schedule, the online application process will begin on 24 August 2025 and will continue till 23 September 2025. Candidates are advised to complete the application within the given dates through the official BSF recruitment website, rectt.bsf.gov.in.

Vacancy Details

BSF has announced a total of 1121 vacancies, divided between Radio Operator (RO) and Radio Mechanic (RM) posts. The post wise vacancies are as follows:

• Head Constable (Radio Operator) – 910 vacancies
• Head Constable (Radio Mechanic) – 211 vacancies
• Total – 1121 vacancies

Applicants must be Indian citizens, both male and female, and meet the following educational requirements:

• 12th pass with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, securing at least 60% marks in aggregate OR 10th pass with an ITI certificate in a relevant trade.

• General, OBC, and EWS candidates – Rs. 100
• SC, ST, and PWD candidates – Exempted from fee

Selection Process
