Simpsons writer Daniel Anthony McGrath is no more. He passed away on November 14, leaving his family, friends and fans heartbroken. He was only 61 and died of a stroke. It was Dan McGrath's family who shared the news of his passing on social media. The statement read, "We lost my incredible brother Danny yesterday. He was a special man, one of a kind."

"An incredible son, brother, uncle and friend. Our hearts are broken," wrote his sister Gail McGrath Garabedian on Facebook. As per a report, McGrath died at NYU Langone Hospital in Brooklyn after suffering the stroke.

Moneycontrol's team spoke to Dr Madhukar Bhardwaj, Director & HOD, Neurology, Aakash Healthcare, to understand the warning signs of a stroke and more. "The sudden death of Daniel Anthony McGrath at 61 due to a stroke is another example that sheds light on how unpredictable and disastrous a cerebrovascular disease can be. Stroke is still among the most frequent causes of acute neurological impairment and mortality that can occur unexpectedly among people who seem to be active and potentially busy in their professions. His demise is a lesson that early diagnosis of symptoms and prompt medical attention play a vital role in enhancing the outcome," he shared.
