Yami Gautam recently shared a rare throwback picture with her younger sister, Surilie Gautam, to celebrate her 35th birthday on Thursday, April 3.
Affectionately calling her the "Raja Babu" of her life, Yami penned a heartfelt birthday message for her sister in an Instagram post. She wrote in the caption, "To the OG maasi & Raja Babu of my live Happy Birthday to my dearest Surilie Love you so much !!!! P.S. Can never get enough of this beautiful moment in from my wedding @s_u_r_i_l_i_e.”
In the heartfelt picture, Yami Gautam sits gracefully with a red dupatta draped over her head, while her sister Surilie performs a traditional wedding ritual by pouring water over Yami’s mehendi-adorned feet.
For those unfamiliar, Surilie Gautam has also made her mark in the entertainment industry. She began her acting journey with the television show Meet Mila De Rabba in 2008 and later gained recognition through Punjabi films such as Power Cut, Shava Ni Girdhari Lal, and Posti.

Yami Gautam and director-husband Aditya Dhar welcomed their first child, son Vedavid in May last year. During a recent interview with News 18, Yami shared that the couple has chosen to keep their son away from the cameras. "You won't see him. I mean, that's a very personal choice which Aditya and I have taken. I think a child deserves a childhood which every other child needs to have. It has a psychological impact and we want him to just enjoy this life, to enjoy this blessing," she stated.
On the work front, Yami was last seen in the Netflix film Dhoom Dhaam, starring alongside Pratik Gandhi.
