With all seven members of BTS now having completed their mandatory military service, fans across the globe—known collectively as ARMY—are eagerly anticipating the long-awaited reunion of the global K-pop sensation.
Now, recent online activity has fuelled speculation that a significant comeback may be on the horizon as early as September 2025.
A post from BTS' official fan club on Weverse has caught the attention of fans worldwide. The announcement concerned the renewal of ARMY membership, stating that new membership cards would be issued from 3rd July, and official membership gifts would be distributed on 23rd September.
What might have seemed like a routine update quickly sent fans into a frenzy, with many speculating that the date could mark more than just a gift delivery—it might signal the long-anticipated return of BTS as a full group.
Though there has been no formal confirmation from BigHit Music or parent company HYBE, the timing of the announcement has led to widespread discussion online. September 23rd, fans argue, is too significant a date to ignore, especially given the context of recent military discharges and fan engagement strategies.
In earlier reports, it was suggested that BTS would officially reunite for a group comeback in March 2026.
A HYBE official previously told The Korea Herald, “BTS’ comeback date is set for March next year.” Another industry insider added, “While the exact date is unknown, I think it will be mid-March. I heard BTS is returning in the same month as their brother group Tomorrow X Together.” However, with the current Weverse update, there is now growing belief that fans may receive new content—perhaps a prerelease single or group project—well ahead of the full-scale 2026 comeback.

Meanwhile, the final member to complete military service, Suga, was officially discharged on 21st June 2025. In a heartfelt message posted to Weverse, he greeted fans warmly and acknowledged their patience and support during his absence.
“Hello, everyone. Nice to meet you. It’s a SUGA... I really missed you,” he wrote, reflecting the deep connection BTS continues to share with their dedicated fanbase.
Whether BTS returns in September or waits until March, one thing is certain: the world is ready.
