Today marks the third wedding anniversary of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, and fans are reminiscing about some of the most heartfelt things he has said about his wife.
Last year, Ranbir gave a rare and genuine look into his relationship with Alia by talking candidly about their lovely bond on Nikhil Kamath's podcast.
"You know, I am so lucky Nikhil that I am married to somebody who I'm extremely close to as a friend, like we can really chat, laugh, she's like my best friend and I got really lucky with that," he shared, expressing his gratitude for the deep friendship that forms the foundation of their marriage.
Ranbir revealed that he had known from early on that Alia was someone truly special. "Alia was somebody who I met over the years and I knew that this person is special."
He went on to describe the immense admiration he holds for her, not only as a partner but also as an individual. "I have immense respect for her as an actor, as an artist, as a person, as a daughter, as a sister, and she really makes me smile. I'm very happy to go home to her. I love going on a holiday with her but I love coming home with her also."
Ranbir painted a picture of Alia as a driven and passionate woman. "She is a very ambitious girl and she an overachiever, she's really passionate about her work. Extremely passionate, extremely intelligent. She has spaces where she is kind of fragmented. So, you really have to get her attention."

Reflecting on their relationship dynamics, Ranbir spoke of the mutual growth they've experienced. "But I think over the years, me really cribbing to her about her. I have her attention to it. And I'm talking like, she listen's to me, but I think she really made certain efforts. And I must acknowlwdge this about her is that, like everything I complained or she complained about, I think she madde better efforts than I have. She changed more for me than I have changed for her."

On the work front, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are currently filming Sanjay Leela Bhansali's much-anticipated epic Love and War, which also features Vicky Kaushal.
