Ajay Devgn did not hold back while teasing Akshay Kumar about his early rising habit. Ajay and Akshay have been in the industry for over three decades now. They’ve starred in a few movies together. Their recent film was Singham Again. In a recent interview, Ajay was asked to share a secret about Akshay that not many might know. Ajay said that there might be nothing about Akshay that fans don’t know about but decided to add a cheeky comment about the most popular fact about him — he is an early riser.
In a chat with Bollywood Hungama, Ajay was asked to share a secret about Akshay. Ajay replied, “Well, I am sure they know everything about him." He then got cheeky and said, “Woh subha 4 baje uthate hain, yeh toh aapko pata hi hoga. (You would know that he gets up at 4 in the morning). Aap logo ko pata hai pehle woh doodhwala thaa. Aapko pata nahi hoga toh pooch lena use kabhi. Jabtakk hum uthte hai uski ek film complete ho jati hai" (Do you know he was a milkman before). You can ask him next time," teasing his Singham Again co-star.
In chat with Shikhar Dhawan on his show Dhawan Karenge earlier this year, Akshay Kumar revealed details of his morning routine. “I think every person should wake up early because it is the best time to be alone. You can get 2-2.5 hours for yourself when the spouse is sleeping, or the children are asleep. It’s not as though I wake up and start exercising. I wake up, I laze around, go to the garden. There is a sea. I go to the seashore. I take a walk. I talk to myself," he said.
“There are times when I look up and ask a question. This is a great time for me. Those two hours are the best. That is meditation for me. I do not meditate otherwise. My routine is my meditation. Reflecting within. For me, that is my true meditation," he added.
Meanwhile, Ajay and Akshay shared the screen with Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Arjun Kapoor in Singham Again. The film, which was a Diwali release, is inching towards a Rs 200 Cr box office collection.
