War 2 box office collection day 2: Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR-starrer earns Rs 108 crore in two days, trails Coolie by just Rs 1.8 crore

War 2 is off to a flying start at the Indian box office. Directed by Ayan Mukerji and backed by Yash Raj Films, the high-octane action spectacle continues the successful War franchise, bringing together Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan and Telugu powerhouse Jr NTR for the first time.

On its opening day, War 2 minted an impressive Rs 51.5 crore net across India. The breakdown of the day one collection stood at Rs 29 crore from the Hindi version, Rs 22.25 crore from Telugu, and Rs 0.25 crore from Tamil. This strong start firmly established the film as one of the biggest openers of 2025.

The film carried forward its momentum on day 2, benefiting from the Independence Day holiday weekend. Early estimates suggest War 2 earned Rs 56.50 crore net in India on Friday, pushing its total domestic earnings to Rs 108 crore in just two days. The growth from day one indicates solid word-of-mouth, especially in the Hindi and Telugu circuits, where occupancy levels saw a notable uptick.
