Legendary actress and Bharatanatyam icon Vyjayanthimala has reassured fans of her good health, putting an end to false rumours regarding her passing. The misleading news had been circulating rapidly, prompting her son, Suchindra Bali, to take to the media and clarify the situation.
On his Instagram, Suchindra Bali confirmed, "Dr. Vyjayanthimala Bali is in good health, and any news that says otherwise is false. Before sharing, please validate the news source."
His words were a much-needed clarification, putting to rest any concerns among fans and admirers of the iconic actress.

Vyjayanthimala, now 91, remains active and vibrant. In January of this year, she mesmerised audiences in Chennai with a breathtaking Bharatanatyam performance, continuing to dazzle admirers with her grace and talent.
The performance, which took place at Kala Pradarshini, was a tribute to her unmatched skill in Bharatanatyam. Vyjayanthimala performed to the Carnatic composition "Daasiganunta" in raga Abheri, set to Adi tala. Her expressions, precision, and stage presence were as captivating as ever.
Musician Girijashankar Sundaresan provided the vocal accompaniment, further elevating the performance’s grandeur.
In a heartwarming post on Instagram, Girijashankar shared a video of the performance, expressing his deep admiration for Vyjayanthimala: "An absolute honour to share the stage with Padma Vibhushan Dr. Vyjayanthimala Bali Amma.
