Vikrant Massey says working in his first Dharma Productions soon, will be seen with Lakshya in Dostana 2

Bollywood actor Vikrant Massey is ready to take on a new role in Dharma Productions "Dostana 2. He recently stated that he would be in the movie, which is his first time working with Dharma Productions.

Kartik Aaryan, Janhvi Kapoor, and Lakshya were supposed to star in Dostana 2. And Lakshya was seen in Aryan Khan's directorial debut The Bads of Bollywood and is earning accolades for his role.

After all the changes in the original cast, Vikrant Massey and Lakshya will now lead the movie.

Vikrant told Times Now that he would be in the movie and that it would present him in a whole new way.

Vikrant Massey said: "You will see me doing that soon. I think this news is already out. I don’t know why I’m not talking. I’m doing Dostana 2. I’m doing my first Dharma movie. Usme you will see me wearing good designer clothes. Karan (Johar) sir will make sure that I have wear good clothes and I wear those fancy sunglasses. Shooting somewhere in Europe."

When asked about the female lead in the movie, Vikrant stated, "I don't think so." It would be better if Karan sir said it. "Uski bhi toh badi announcement hai." Karan sir would remark that it's a huge announcement, therefore I won't divulge what it is."

He did, however, confirm that Lakshya, his male co-star, was in the movie. "Lakshya is in the movie. but let the girl be a surprise."

According to Pinkvilla, Dostana 2 will have a new comer as its female lead.

Vikrant Massey and Lakshya are likely to start shooting for the movie in January 2026 and release it at the end of next year.

Kartik Aaryan was supposed to be in the movie with Janhvi Kapoor. But in 2021, news came out that Kartik was no longer in the movie. Later, Dharma Productions put out a formal statement declaring, "We will be recasting Dostana 2."
