    Veteran Malayalam actress Meena Ganesh passed away at her residence in Ottappalam, Kerala on Thursday (December 19). She was 81.

    Veteran Malayalam actress Meena Ganesh passed away in Ottappalam, Kerala on Thursday (December 19). She was 81.

    According to a report in Manorama News, the veteran actress died at a private hospital in Ottappalam where she was undergoing treatment.

    Meena Ganesh is best remembered for her roles in Kalabhavan Mani starrer 'Vasanthiyum

    Lakshmiyum Pinne Njanum', 'Karumadikuttan' and 'Nandanam'.

    The actress began her career at the age of 19 as a theatre artist and went on to work in

    as many as 105 films.

    She is the wife of popular theatre artist and lm actor AN Ganesh.
