Actress Urvashi Rautela has recently walked the red carpet of the 78th Cannes Film Festival on the French Riviera in a bold look. She attended the screening of the film Partir un Jour in a vibrant and colourful strapless gown, leaving netizens unimpressed.

She sported a vibrant, strapless, intricately designed gown with shades of blue, red, and yellow and featuring a bold and vibrant mosaic-like pattern. She paired her look with a matching tiara and earrings.

However, she garnered most attention for her crystal parrot clutch from the brand Judith Leiber, priced at Rs 4,68,064. She notably became the first celebrity to walk the red carpet with a parrot. Additionally, Urvashi was also the first Indian celebrity of this year to walk down the red carpet.

Meanwhile, Urvashi failed to nail the Cannes red carpet look, and her bold make-up also received huge backlash and trolls on social media.

The actress's photos were widely shared on Instagram, and several critics took to the comment section to mock the actress.

One person wrote, “wtf urvashi rautela ko cannes kon bheja, dabidi dabidi karke aagyi.” Another critic added, “Someone please tell Urvashi Rautela that she's at Cannes, not Comic Con.”

However, Urvashi also seems to break the Cannes 2025 dressing rules with her colourful dress that featured a long train. It was recently announced that the celebrity should wear outfits with no nudity (sheer dresses), no voluminous silhouettes, and no long trains.
