Janhvi Kapoor has been rumoured to be dating Shikhar Pahariya for quite some time now. The two have often been spotted together in Mumbai, and Janhvi has indirectly confirmed their relationship on several occasions. On 'Koffee With Karan', the 'Mr. and Mrs. Mahi' actress revealed having Shikhar’s number on her speed dial. She was also seen sporting a locket that spelled Shikhar’s name. While on 'The Great Indian Kapil Show', a coy yet confident Janhvi responded to Kapil Sharma when he quizzed her about her beau.

Kapil asked Janhvi if she would prefer a partner from the film industry or if she was content with the "Shikhar" she is on in her life. A blushing Janhvi responded, “Jiss bhi Shikhar par main hoon, wahan bohot khush hoon” (I am very happy to be at the Shikhar I am currently on). This playful exchange further fueled the rumours about her relationship with Shikhar Pahariya.

Kapil also asked Janhvi if she had ever used public transport, to which she shared her experiences and frustrations about people assuming she would become an actress solely because she is Sridevi’s daughter.
