Shaheer Sheikh and Somya Seth reunited at a wedding

Popular TV serial Navya.. Naye Dhadkan Naye Sawaal cast members Somya Seth and Shaheer Sheikh recently reunited at Somya’s sister Prakriti Seth’s wedding.

Shaheer took to his Instagram and shared a series of pictures with Somya and her family members. Alongside the pics, the TV actor penned in the caption, “Wishing you all the happiness in the world @sethprakriti.”

Shaheer started the slide with a picture of Somya and bride Prakriti, followed by a family picture which included Somya’s father, sister, husband and son. He also added some of the candid pictures with Somya and Prakriti, giving a glimpse at their close friendship.

For the unversed, Somya Seth portrayed Navya Anant Vajpayee, and Shaheer Sheikh played the role of Anant Bajpai in the Star Plus show. The supporting cast included Girish Sahdev as Deepak Mishra, Kshiti Jog as Neeta Mishra and Shruti Sharma as Renuka.

The show was produced by Swastik and started airing in 2011, and continued for over a year.

The Hindi TV serial revolves around Navya, a young girl, who falls in love with Anant, who belongs to a powerful family. They get married despite the initial problems, but have to face bigger obstacles later.

While Prakriti stayed out of the spotlight, Somya starred in several TV shows and starred as Kaurwaki in Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat. She also worked in shows like V The Serial and Dil Ki Nazar Se Khoobsurat.

Somya then took a break from TV to focus on her family and later started her own real estate venture.
