Malti Chahar BB19 journey

Malti Chahar, a wildcard entrant in Bigg Boss 19, has had an impactful performance characterised by her bold, straightforward personality, involvement in major house rivalries, and significant support from the cricket community. She has reached the top 6 finalists of the show.

As Bigg Boss 19 races towards its grand finale, let's take a look at her journey in the most controversial house.

Malti entered the house as the second wildcard and immediately created a stir, with other contestants like Tanya Mittal and Neelam Giri discussing her entry and intentions.

Her stint in the house has been marked by several heated arguments and physical altercations, most notably with Tanya Mittal and Farrhana Bhatt.

Her entry caused a stir in the dynamics between contestants, and she looked promising with her calling spade a spade amid contestants who rather engaged in politics.

Her existence was not limited to the kitchen, as was the case for most contestants. She has come to be known as a controversial figure following some major clashes inside the house.

She had a huge altercation with Tanya Mittal during a task where she was accused of slapping Tanya after the latter put ink on her lips. She also got into an ugly verbal and physical fight with Farrhana Bhatt, which included an exchange of insults and a kicking incident.

The list doesn't end here, Malti Chahar was also involved in a controversy surrounding a comment she made about Nehal's clothes, saying "Jaake kapde pehen ke baat kakre aa aur fir baat karna (Go and where clothes and then talk to me") for which she was widely slammed by all the housemates.

But on the contrary, viewers and housemates have also praised her for her "calm strength", mature gameplay, and for lifting the energy of the season.

She has been seen as a strong, independent player who doesn't form alliances just for strategy.

Her brother, cricketer Deepak Chahar, has been actively campaigning for her, and several team India players, including Yuzvendra Chahal and Suresh Raina, have publicly extended their support, boosting her visibility.

Bigg Boss 19 fans have also shown support and liking towards her friendship with Pranit More.

Despite controversies and appearing in the bottom two or three in some voting trends, she has made it to the top 6 finalists, a significant achievement for a wildcard contestant.
