Review of Kota Factory Season Three: In the third season, Jitendra Kumar makes a comeback as Jeetu Bhaiya for his students. However, because of the sad event involving his former students' suicide, he is seeking therapy for a troubled mental state this time around. Remember that this season is in black and white, just like the previous one. It is a five-episode series and is a good watch. The story is set in Kota, Rajasthan, an educational hub famous for its coaching centres.

Plot

Jeetu Bhaiya blames himself for a student's suicide in the third season. As part of his therapy, he will be required to maintain a distance from his students before he can give them instructions. His therapist asks him, quite rightly, "Why Jeetu Bhaiya? and not Jeetu Sir?' Nevertheless, he consents to recording a podcast and raises concerns about the educational policy, which may ultimately lead to him being able to detach from the students who he treats like his kids. He knows the solutions but is unable to detach. The bond between Vaibhav, Uday, and Meena is growing, and they are aware that IIT, their destination, is not far away. You've witnessed the preparation throughout the seasons, and now comes the moment to view the finished result. AIMER's gets a faculty in new chemistry teacher Tillotama Shome, Rajesh Kumar as math teacher. Watch to find out what transpires.

Kota Factory 3 performances

This season, the gifted Jitendra Kumar's Jeetu Bhaiya impresses you as a bewildered teacher. He is the ideal example of someone who solves problems and serves as a role model for his students, but he himself is seeking therapy. His therapist requests that he distance himself from the students at his institute, AIMERs, and treat them as fellow students rather than as his children. It's challenging for him.

In Jeetu Bhaiya's world of AIMERs, Tillotama Shome plays Pooja Ma'am (Didi), the ad hoc chemistry teacher, who fits in perfectly. She initially dislikes Kota because, in her opinion, it has turned into a factory, but she ultimately comes around. Tillotama has a strong body of work; examples include Angrezi Medium, Manto, and Lust Stories.

The performances of Vartika (Revathi Pillai), Shivangi (Ahsaas Channa), Meena (Ranjan Raj), Uday (Alam Khan), and Vaibhav (Mayur More) are commendable. Even though Vaibhav appears to be growing increasingly irritated with the waiting period, he effectively defends his actions as a student who has been studying Kota just to succeed in JEE. It's refreshing to have Uday as a bindass friend. In an otherwise tense setting, he offers those moments of humour. Meena, whose primary concern in life is not just passing JEE, but also paying his room rent because he is unable to ask for help due to the drought at home. As Meena, Ranjan gives a flawless performance. The pals get along well despite not having any family in Kota.

After his cousin gets selected for the IPL, Vaibhav becomes insecure, thinking about how his own life would be different and how the waiting is wearing them down.

Jeetu Bhaiya's podcast about some lapses in the education policy is something that highlights the issues being faced by kids. Seems like it could form a base for the next season.

Trailer

The trailer set the tone for what was in store for the audience. Kota Factory Season 3 begins from where it left off, and Jeetu Bhaiya's focus is also clear, but this time he is a lot worried as he gets too personally involved with the problems his students (whom he calls his children) face.

What works

There are no monologues in the series; Jeetu Bhaiya (Jitendra Kumar) resolves his student’s problems in a practical manner with examples. Pooja, played by the talented Tillotama, does her part perfectly. She not only makes chemistry sound easy but also cheers up the morale of the kids. Jeetu Bhaiya’s therapy sessions are also an eye opener, showing the fact that trachers themselves are humans.

All in all, 'Kota Season 3' is a good watch for today's kids, who are reeling under the pressure of: will they or won't they? The story underlines the fact that competitive exams are a part of your life and not your entire life.

The 'Kota Factory 3' series is created by Saurabh Khanna, showrunner Raghav Subbu, directed by Pratish Mehta and produced by  The Viral Fever.

The show is written by Punnet Batra (Head Writer), Pravin Yadav, Nikita Lalwani, Manish Chandwani.
