Saiyaara, starring Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, went viral on social media when it debuted in theatres in July of this year. Everyone adored the movie and the performances of the young performers. Videos of young people sobbing in theatres or loudly applauding Ahaan and Aneet's on-screen romance were all over the internet back then.
It all began when Gaurav Khanna disclosed that he had not yet seen Ahaan Panday's first film. "I haven't yet seen this film. How is it?" he asked, adding, "After seeing some videos, I haven't seen the movie. Is this such an intense movie that people are crying and ripping their clothes?"
Mridul then said, "To be honest, I wanted to laugh. As such, there was nothing. In actuality, influencers and regular people were instructed to perform similar antics.”
Additionally, Ashnoor Kaur claimed that the excitement surrounding the movie was a "PR stunt".
When Gaurav asked Ashnoor if Saiyaar was worth watching, she replied that it was a ‘one-time watch.’
Now, according to speculations doing the rounds, an Instagram page claims that Gaurav, Mridul and Ashnoor have faced a temporary ban by YRF Films.
Akshaye Widhani, the CEO of YRF and producer of Saiyaara, previously disregarded the bought video storyline and disclosed that all viral videos were organic. He told India Today, "None of those people were planted in theatres."
He went on, "These are real fans reacting with real emotions, whether it's the person on a drip, the one yelling at the screen, or the guy who took off his shirt and danced. It's amusing when you start getting calls from individuals expressing how much they've cried, and you genuinely appreciate them for it.”

"After all this time, you find yourself saying, 'We're happy you cried,' because that's the kind of emotional connection Mohit has managed to create." The producer further stated, "I honestly can't remember the last time I went to the movies and felt something so deeply."
The protagonists of Ahaan Panday's first film, Saiyaara, are aspiring singer Krish Kapoor and aspiring journalist Vaani Batra. They encounter several obstacles as their love develops. The film combines romance, ambition, and emotional drama with a soundtrack that is already winning people over.
