In addition to making the announcement, the renowned producer and director added her trademark charm to the Weekend Ka Vaar episode by making fun of host Salman Khan, engaging in games with the competitors, and transforming the segment into a moment that will never be forgotten.

Then came Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, who was introduced as the new Naagin, taking on one of the most recognisable roles in Indian television history.

Naagin has always been a crowd-puller on Colors TV, and the anticipation for Season 7 had been building for months. Fans were eager to find out who would carry forward the legacy of this supernatural saga and Priyanka Chahar Choudhary has now been revealed as that very person.

Sharing the news on social media, Colors TV posted a video of Priyanka as the Naagin, with the caption: "Kehte hain ki agar kisi cheez ko dil se chaho toh puri kainaat usse tumse milane ki koshish mein lag jaati hai! [If you really desire someone, the entire universe strategises to help you meet them]."

They added, "Wo Aa Gai Hai! [She is here]," marking the arrival of the new Naagin and sending fans into a frenzy of excitement.

Priyanka’s debut as the Naagin keeps the golden theme that fans have loved in past seasons with Mouni Roy, Tejasswi Prakash, and Surbhi Jyoti.
