After going into the kitchen for the first time since undergoing surgery for liver cancer, television personality Dipika Kakar became tearful. As a foodie, the actress revealed that she missed cooking for her family and felt bad about not being able to do it for so long.
After spending some time in Shoaib Ibrahim's hometown of Bhopal, Dipika and her husband, Shoaib Ibrahim, and their son, Ruhaan, recently made their way back to Mumbai. When they returned, the couple also renovated their house.
After her recuperation, Dipika Kakar recently shared in a vlog that she felt well enough to resume cooking. She exclaimed, overcome with emotion, "I am feeling well enough to be able to cook. I am making chicken for my entire family.”
"This will not be permitted all the time," said Shoaib, who was by her side, with a smile.
"I can't describe how happy I am today," Dipika said after wiping away her emotions and expressing her gratitude. She added, “I've been looking forward to this day for a very long time, so I can't really convey the satisfaction I'm feeling now.”
The pair went shopping in Bhopal and purchased presents and home goods for their family before leaving for Mumbai. Shoaib talked about how much he loved being in his hometown and how he hoped to return soon. With a promise to return soon for another family vacation, Dipika consented.
After returning to Mumbai, the couple made the decision to completely redesign their living room. The room now looks gorgeous in shades of white, beige, and gold. On social media, Shoaib had earlier posted a sneak peek of the refurbished space, saying it was something they had long dreamed of.
