Emotions ran high in the Bigg Boss 19 house when Tanya and Amaal dropped their usual game faces and spoke about the one thing that makes both of them feel safe: their dogs.
Tanya started the conversation by talking about her bond with animals. She said she has adopted more than a hundred dogs so far, and then brought up the one that changed everything for her — Scissor. The moment she took Scissor’s name, her voice broke. “When Scissor came into my life, everything changed,” she said. “Ever since Scissor, from rags to riches, my life turned around in six years. I built everything on my own — no support from my dad. I even bought my own factory.” For her, Scissor wasn’t a pet. Scissor was proof that she could survive, build, and win without anyone’s help.
Amaal then shared his own story, and the whole house went quiet listening to him. He spoke about Handsome, the dog he found late one night in Pune while he was there for a show. At the time, he said, nothing in his career was working. “At that time, my songs weren’t working. My mom told me, ‘We don’t even have enough for ourselves,’ but I had promised her that I’d take care of him no matter what. That’s why Handsome means so much to me,” Amaal said. Handsome wasn’t just rescued. Handsome became a reason to keep going.
Then came a moment that felt less like reality TV and more like two friends at 3 am. Amaal said he wants to make a soft toy that looks exactly like Handsome. Tanya immediately jumped in, almost without thinking: “I have a soft toy factory — we can easily make one. We can even get a nice picture made of Scissor and Handsome together.”
