Mridul Tiwari speaks on his eviction from Bigg Boss 19

Bigg Boss 19 has recently witnessed the elimination of contestant Mridul Tiwari.

Following his surprising departure from the reality show, Mridul sat down for an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla, discussing his eviction and the fellow contestants. Mridul believes his removal was not due to public votes or natural gameplay. Rather, it seemed "staged by the creators from the outset" to him. He notes that specific incidents in the Bigg Boss 19 house were presented in a manner that portrayed him unfavourably, causing the audience to perceive only one perspective of the narrative.

Mridul mentions subtle signals such as decreased screen usage, intentional editing, and a recurring emphasis on misinterpretations, suggesting that the story was being directed in a way that was unfavourable to him. In the end, he realised that the removal aligned seamlessly with a predetermined narrative that the creators aimed to advance, mentions the publication.

He openly discusses the mechanisms behind how the show functions. He acknowledges that although it’s marketed as a reality show influenced by audience votes and contestant interactions, it is primarily the producers who hold the ultimate authority. Mridul points out that specific tasks, choices, and even disagreements seem to align with the direction the creators desire for the show to take.

According to Mridul, the narrative is largely influenced by the production team through the portrayal of contestants and the emphasis placed on certain situations, as reported by the portal. The publication quoted him as saying his eviction “orchestrated him from the very beginning”.

Mridul also mentions that he previously gave a significant speech within the house, one that he believed could have altered public opinion. To his surprise and disappointment, though, the whole speech did not appear in the final broadcast. He describes the moment as deeply emotional and open, sharing personal realities and addressing particular disagreements.

Mridul believes the edited section from the episode seemed like a conscious decision that denied viewers a significant aspect of his story. It left him feeling ignored and inaccurately portrayed, strengthening his conviction that the creators only display what bolsters the narrative they wish to emphasise.
