Bigg Boss 19's most talked about contestants, Baseer Ali, was recently evicted along with Nehal Chudasama in a shocking double elimination.
Baseer was known for his fiery personality, outspoken nature, and frequent clashes inside the house, and he often made headlines, whether it was for his fights with co-contestants or his rumoured affair with Nehal.
After stepping out, Baseer didn’t hold back. He called out Bigg Boss host Salman Khan and the makers for what he believes was biased treatment towards him.
In an interview with The Indian Express, Baseer questioned why no action was taken when contestant Malti Chahar made comments about his sexuality.
“What was Bigg Boss doing about it? It was said on camera, and the clip came out from the Bigg Boss team. What did Salman Khan sir or the makers do about it? Did they not want to address it? Is that fair to me? When I called the contestant quality shit, it was made into a big issue. Farah Khan blasted me for it, and I was looking like the bad guy then. Gaurav had made a comment to Amaal that you come from such a reputed family. Pointing towards me, he said, ‘Yeh log toh aise hai, don’t we come from good families?’ Nobody addressed these situations. It is very evident they don’t want to address these things as it worked for them," Baseer said.
Baseer's journey in Bigg Boss
Throughout the season, Baseer was seen locking horns with his co-contestants.
His candid attitude and occasional temper made him a polarising figure, but has also got him a strong fan following.
His close bond and budding romance with Nehal Chudasama also kept viewers guessing, sparking conversations inside and outside the house.
“Also, there was absolutely no guidance given to me. It is unfair on the part of the makers to discard everything that was negatively said about me," he added.
Talking about his sudden eviction, Baseer admitted he was taken aback. “I have learnt the art of acceptance due to the experience from the reality shows I have been a part of. Bigg Boss has taught me a lot. When I got evicted, I was in disbelief for a fraction of a second. The day I was evicted, when I woke up, the house where I spent 63 days felt different. I took it as a sign from God. When I was evicted, I just walked out with a smile," he said.
While Baseer Ali’s exit has sparked debate among fans about fairness and favoritism, his unapologetic voice and strong presence have ensured that even after eviction, he remains one of the most discussed contestants of Bigg Boss 19.
