Arti Singh reacts as Sunita Ahuja calls her and Krushna Abhishek ‘her children’; says, ‘They haven’t spoken or anything, but...’

Speaking to Paras Chhabra, Sunita shared that she has chosen to move on from past grievances.

The long-standing tension within the Govinda family appears to have finally eased. Arti Singh has expressed immense relief and happiness after her aunt, Sunita Ahuja, referred to her and her cousin Krushna Abhishek as “her children” during a recent podcast appearance.

Speaking to Paras Chhabra, Sunita shared that she has chosen to move on from past grievances. “Krushna grew up with me, along with Vinay, Dumpy, and my brother-in-law’s son. For me, they are all my children. I’ve forgotten everything from the past. Now I just want all the children to laugh, play, and be happy. I bless everyone,” she said.

Responding to her Sunita mami’s words, Arti told HT City that she felt both emotional and relieved. “Yes, I saw that interview. I was so happy! We were always her children, and deep down, I always knew she loved us. Whatever happened in these years, you would have never heard anything from my side. I am happy to hear what she said about Krushna, I really did want to hear it. They haven’t spoken or anything, but I am so relieved that she is not upset with him anymore,” she said.

The strained relationship reportedly began after Krushna made remarks about his uncle Govinda during a comedy show, which Sunita allegedly found disrespectful. Since then, the rift between the two sides of the family had become public, despite Krushna’s repeated attempts to reconcile. In past interviews, Sunita even stated she had chosen to skip The Kapil Sharma Show because of Krushna and his wife Kashmera Shah’s presence.

In the same podcast, Sunita expressed her wish for peace and togetherness, saying, “This is not the age to fight with each other now… I want Aarti to become a mother soon, she comes home to tie rakhi to Yash.”

Arti responded saying, “Yes, whenever God will decide... she will become a rockstar nani soon! I have surrendered to God. I have loved mami and Chi Chi mama from my heart and have immense respect for them. They have loved us like our parents.”
