K-pop band ASTRO member and actor Cha Eun-woo would soon embark on his mandatory military service. The singer’s agency, Fantagio, has recently announced that the singer has been officially accepted for the services.
Cha Eun-woo had applied to serve in the army previously and would soon join the army. He will start his services in July.
According to Soompi, Fantagio released an official statement and announced, "Cha Eun-woo applied to join the Army Military Band and received a final acceptance notice from the Military Manpower Administration today. He will enter the training centre on July 28 and undergo basic military training before fulfilling his duty in the Army Military Band."
The agency also reveals that there will be no public events on enlistment day to prevent accidents.
The statement continues, "To prevent safety accidents due to congestion on the day of enlistment, the location and time of Cha Eun-woo’s enlistment will be kept private."
However, the agency concluded the message while appreciating fans’ love and support. Fantagio wrote, "We ask for your unsparing support and warm encouragement for Cha Eun-woo as he diligently fulfils his military duty and returns in good health."
