Actress Trisha recently reminisced the completion of her 25 years in the South Indian Film Industry recently at the 2025 South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) held in Dubai. In another overwhelming moment, she also showered heaps of praises for her co-star Thalapathy Vijay.
Before Trisha took the stage at the event honouring her illustrious career, a moving tribute video was shown. She then thanked her co-stars and shared happy memories, to an overwhelmingly positive reception from the crowd.
When Trisha was questioned about her enduring relationship with Vijay, it was the evening's high point. She said, “I would like to tell him good luck on his new journey. Whatever he dreams, may they come true because he deserves it.”
Fans enthusiastically applauded her remarks, celebrating the two's enduring friendship, which is remembered as one of the most iconic on-screen duos of the early 2000s.
Trisha also took a moment to discuss her experience working with Ajith Kumar, praising him for his humility and graciousness. “I’ve worked with him and noticed that he’s so kind and loving. I’ve never seen him have a mood swing; he respects everyone, from lightmen to technicians and fellow actors. His kindness is incredible,” she added.
On the professional front, Trisha last reunited on screen with Vijay in the 2023 film Leo. Their collaboration on screen has often sparked much excitement among the fans.
Trisha was last seen in Good Bad Ugly, co-starring Ajith Kumar. It was released April 10, 2025. Following that she was also seen the Tamil gangster action drama Thug life along with Kamal Haasan. It hit the theatres on June 5 2025. The film was directed by Mani Ratnam.
Meanwhile, fans are eagerly awaiting for Vijay next and reportedly last film Jana Nayagan before he permanently quits films and begins his political career.
