Even though Karan Johar's The Traitors India has only just begun, the drama is already intensifying. In just three episodes since its June 12 premiere, alliances have already been formed and then dissolved.

What started out as a developing friendship between creator Apoorva Mukhija (also known as The Rebel Kid) and social media influencer Uorfi Javed swiftly descended into a heated argument that is now consuming social media conversation.

A very touching moment occurred in episode three when Apoorva sobbed and expressed how much she missed her mother. Uorfi stepped in sympathetically and offered consolation right away. Uorfi was clearly surprised by Apoorva's harsh response, though, as she refused to accept the gesture.

This sparked a swift exchange that shifted the atmosphere from warm to icy. Uorfi, unafraid to stand her ground, delivered a pointed rebuke: “She is not at the same level as I am. She needs to respect me.”

Apoorva retaliated sharply: “Naa uski height badi hai naa uska dimag. I don’t need that negativity.” The tension peaked when Uorfi delivered the final blow: “I don’t need to be your friend or wish to speak to you.”

Their conflict didn’t end on screen. The show’s Instagram account posted the video clip, and the conversation continued in the comments. Apoorva fired back: “Mujhe mother bolte hain but delusional ki devi toh Uorfi hain.” She later reshared the clip in her story with the caption: “Gotta give it to Uorfi, hum same level pe toh nahi hai.”

Uorfi responded with a composed retort of her own, posting: “Not at the same level cause I mai is ladki ki tarah battameez nahi hu  Agar battameezi cool hai toh mujhe nahi banna cool gang ka part.”

This explosive argument is only the start. The Traitors India promises to be an exciting fusion of shifting alliances, unadulterated emotions, and unfiltered conflict because of these early sparks.

On June 19, the next three episodes will be available on Amazon Prime Video, and viewers are already anticipating the next thrilling conflict.
