The Great Indian Kapil Show: Jackson Wang says no one recognised him in India, claims it might be his last visit

K-pop star Jackson Wang appeared on Netflix's The Great Indian Kapil Show with actors Vijay Varma, Jaideep Ahlawat, Pratik Gandhi, and Jitendra Kumar. He also tried out dancing.

K-pop sensation Jackson Wang has recently visited India for the second time and met several prominent actors and his fans. However, he has recently appeared on the latest episode of Netflix’s The Great Indian Kapil Show, where he revealed that no one recognised him.

During the episode, he also admitted that this was his last trip to India. Jackson said, “This is my second time in India, but no one recognised me at the clubs.”

K-pop group GOT7 singer continued quipping, “Whenever someone asked for an autograph, it was always ‘for a friend’, never for themselves. Maybe this is my last visit to India. I am so sad.”

When host Kapil Sharma asked the live audience who among them were fans of Jackson, almost everyone raised their hands. Jackson laughed and playfully called them “very good actors.”

Several videos from the episode are going viral on social media, with several Indian fans urging him to revisit. During the episode, Kapil also jokingly recalled Jackson’s previous appearance on his show with Bollywood star Disha Patani. Jackson made it clear on the show that they are “only friends” and reiterated he is not dating anyone currently.

Meanwhile, the recent episode of the comedy show featured an ensemble of fun guest list, including actors Vijay Varma, Jaideep Ahlawat, Pratik Gandhi, and Jitendra Kumar.

For the unversed, Jackson visited India for the first time in 2023 to perform at Lollapalooza India. The singer has previously collaborated with Punjabi star Diljit Dosanjh on the single Buck.

Jackson recently visited India to promote his latest album, MAGICMAN 2. The singer has a huge fan base in India, who gave him a warm welcome.
