Nithiin’s latest film Thammudu hit the theatres on July 4, and it is already set to make its way to OTT. The film opened in the theatres with high expectations but failed to receive the expected response. The film was a commercial disaster, but the fans are still awaiting to stream the film at their cosy place.

According to the reports by 123telugu, Thammudu will premiere on Netflix on August 1, 2025. However, the makers are yet to make the official announcement.

Meanwhile, Thammudu is produced by Dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara Creations and features an ensemble cast including Sapthami Gowda, Laya, Varsha Bollamma, Saurabh Sachdeva, Swasika, Hari Teja, Srikanth Iyyengar, Temper Vamshi, and Chammak Chandra. The film features music by B. Ajaneesh Loknath.

The film is penned by Karthik Reddy Pasunur and Venu Sriram. Venu has also directed the film.

Despite the film's poor box office performance, the sale of Thammudu's non-theatrical rights has given the producers some financial relief. However, it is anticipated that the movie will lose about Rs 30 crore, which would be a major blow to Dil Raju.

The film revolves around a brother and a sister who share a close bond. Their life takes a dramatic turn when his sister faces multiple challenges in life, and he strives to protect her at any cost. The film explores the beautiful bond between siblings and how they overcome misunderstandings to continue their relationship.
