Jason, who is going to make his directorial debut with actor Sundeep Kishan was seen at Pattali Makkal Katchi's honorary president GK Mani's grandson's reception in Tamil Nadu's Salem on Tuesday.

The video of Sanjay arriving for the wedding went viral on social media and fans were quick to notice that their favourite actor's son looked like a replica of his famous dad.

Jason Sanjay, who is preparing for his debut as a director, extended his congratulations to the newlyweds while posing with them on stage.

In the widely shared videos, his body language and gestures bear a striking resemblance to those of his father. For the reception, Sanjay chose a dark brown shirt, complementing the formal yet understated occasion. As a mark of respect, GK Mani's family members honored him with a shawl and a garland, adding to the celebratory atmosphere of the event.

Jason Sanjay is all set for his directorial venture, produced by Lyca Productions. The untitled film will feature Sundeep Kishan in the lead role. The pre-production work is underway and is expected to go on floors in the coming months.

The film was announced in August 2023. In a statement, Sanjay said, "It's an honour to get the opportunity to direct my first film for a prestigious production house like Lyca Productions. It has been a hub of encouraging talents and has created a stream of new filmmakers. I am glad that they liked my script, and have given me complete creative freedom to materialise it."
