Tanya Mittal lashes out at allegations of being called a ‘hypocrite’; says, ‘I have been open about my identity, why should it be challenged?’

Spiritual content creator Tanya Mittal gained national fame as a participant on the recently conclude Bigg Boss 19. Recognised for her bold demeanor and assertions of a lavish lifestylez  like visiting Dubai solely for dessert or needing significant personal protection, Tanya swiftly emerged as one of the most discussed and divisive figures of the show.

After her departure as a Top 5 finalist from the hit reality show Bigg Boss 19, Tanya Mittal addressed the ongoing claims of being 'fake' or 'pretentious' that plagued her during her stay in the house.

In an interview post her eviction, Tanya ardently supported her choices and way of life, contending that the considerable scrutiny she encountered arose from antiquated expectations imposed on successful women as reported by TellyChakkar.

Tanya stated that she has always been honest about her history and the way she decides to live. "I have consistently been open about my identity. I hail from a family where I was raised with specific habits and comforts, and I don’t understand why that should be challenged."

The reality star directly tackled the source of the debate: her individual expenditures.

"Whenever I decide to invest in myself or uphold a certain way of living, it’s due to my ability to do so. I put in the effort for it," she asserted. "That doesn’t mean I’m pretentious. If I am able to manage my wants and needs, what’s the problem with that?"

Tanya proposed that the skepticism she faced, especially regarding aspects such as employing personal bodyguards, was fundamentally biased against her gender.

She pointed out that these privileges are usually anticipated from men or well-known celebrities, but when a self-sufficient woman achieves that degree of security and comfort, "it turns into a subject of discussion."

She finished her statement by fully embracing her personality, recognizing that her strong sense of self could be intense for certain individuals.

"I understand I may overwhelm certain individuals, yet I have consistently lived according to my own rules. I refuse to conform to expectations merely to seem acceptable."

Tanya Mittal’s time on Bigg Boss 19, amidst the controversies, has solidified her public image and even opened doors for a possible acting debut after she received an offer from producer Ekta Kapoor.
