Tamil actress Shalini has recently broken the internet with her unusual divorce celebration. She celebrated her divorce with a photo shoot, posting pictures to Instagram that went viral right away.

She created a buzz among the fans with a picture of herself holding a sign that reads, "99 problems but husband ain't one.”

The TV actor shared a series of pictures on her Instagram and reflected on her divorce in the caption as she begins a new chapter of her life. She penned, “A Divorced woman’s Message to those who feel voiceless.”

She added, “It’s okay to leave a bad marriage cause You deserve to be happy and never settle for less,  take control of your lives and make the changes necessary to create a better future for yourself and your children.”

Shalini added in the caption, “DIVORCE is NOT a FAILURE!!! It’s a turning point for you and to led positive changes in your lives. It takes a lot of courage to leave a marriage and stand alone So to all my BRAVE WOMEN out there I dedicate this.”

In one of the photos, Shalini is seen wearing a sash that says "Divorced" and holding balloons.

Several social media users took to the comment section of the post and called it empowering that she chose to celebrate the end of her marriage rather than lament it.

Shalini has been outspoken about her quest for happiness and self-discovery ever since she made her divorce public. On social media, she frequently offers insights into her own development, inspiring others to find happiness on their own journeys.

The actress tied the knot with Riaz in July 2020. However, Shalini announced her divorce in 2023.
