Tabu gives update on Bhoot Bangla movie with Akshay Kumar

Tabu recently shared the news of the start of shooting for the upcoming Akshay Kumar starrer Bhooth Bangla, and has now updated her Instagram, revealing that she has completed the first shooting schedule.

Akshay Kumar, who is also part of the cast, was recently in Jaipur to shoot his scenes for the film.

With both actors working together on this exciting project, fans are eagerly awaiting more updates.

The film promises to blend elements of horror and comedy, with a strong star cast and an intriguing storyline that is sure to keep audiences entertained. It is slated for release for 2026.

Tabu posted a picture on her Instagram with her team, and based on the background, it appears to be a shot taken in her green room.

On January 12, Tabu announced her involvement in the Bhooth Bangla cast by sharing a picture of the clapperboard with "Bhooth Bangla" written on it. Her Instagram post was accompanied by the caption, "Hum yahan bandh hain [We are locked inside]."

Some time ago, Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal shared a behind-the-scenes picture from the movie’s Jaipur schedule on X (formerly known as Twitter). Paresh Rawal posted a BTS photo where Akshay Kumar can be seen enjoying the winter sun shirtless, with Paresh Rawal standing beside him. The veteran actor captioned the post as, “A Shining star enjoying Winter Sun at Jaipur with Mr FIT @akshaykumar on the shoot of BHOOT BANGLA !". Reacting to the post, Akshay reshared Paresh Rawal's picture on X, saying, "It is an amazing day on set… good weather and great company!"

Bhooth Bangla is produced by Shobha Kapoor and Ektaa R Kapoor under the Balaji Telefilms banner, in association with Akshay Kumar's production company, Cape of Good Films. The film's story has been written by Akash A Kaushik, with the screenplay crafted by Rohan Shankar, Abilash Nair, and Priyadarshan.

Starring Akshay Kumar in the lead, the movie also features Paresh Rawal, Wamiqa Gabbi, Rajpal Yadav, and Govardhan Asrani in prominent roles.
