Sydney Sweeney and Jonathan Davino have called off their wedding and ended their seven year long relationship, as per reports.

Reports from People and US Weekly suggest that the Anyone But You actress is currently prioritizing her career. According to a source quoted by People, she came to the realization that she wasn’t ready to commit to a long-term future with her 41-year-old partner. The insider indicated that her professional ambitions take precedence at the moment, as she feels she is exactly where she wants to be.

The source added that while most people might find her busy schedule overwhelming, Sydney is not one of them. Instead, she is fully focused on her work and enthusiastic about the various projects she has lined up. "What did make her overwhelmed though was her relationship and her wedding. She didn’t feel right about it," the source added.

The Source further stated, “Things are also always tense between them when she is promoting a movie because she has to give her full attention to the project, and people always speculate about their relationship and Sydney being close to her co-stars."

According to TMZ sources, the former couple had went their separate ways in January.

A second source informed Us Weekly that it was Sweeney who decided to call off the wedding. The insider revealed that the couple had planned to marry this spring, but the wedding is no longer happening, and there are no further discussions about it. According to the source, Sweeney wanted to cancel everything as she found the stress overwhelming.

The couple, who were linked in the fall of 2018 and got engaged in 2022, were last seen together in public on January 20.
