Model and actor Rohman Shawl has opened up about his financial limitations when it comes to gifting diamonds, especially the kind his ex-girlfriend, actress Sushmita Sen, prefers. In a recent interview with Instant Bollywood, Rohman candidly discussed his admiration for diamonds and shared a heartfelt anecdote involving Sushmita, highlighting the respect and affection that continues to exist between them even after their breakup.

Rohman, known for his humility and grounded nature, was asked if he and Sushmita had ever exchanged diamond gifts during their relationship.

With a smile, he responded, “Jis hisab ke unko diamond pasand hai, abhi meri aukaat nahi itna bada kharidne ki. Toh jis din uss layak banunga, inshallah zaroor.” (The kind of diamond she likes, I can't afford to buy such a big one now. So the day I become capable of that, God willing, I will surely buy it.)

Further elaborating on Sushmita’s taste in diamonds, Rohman revealed, “Unka ek pasandita diamond hai, woh 22 carats ka hai. Toh woh kamane ke liye bahot waqt hai, but inshallah jaldi.” (She has a favourite diamond, it is of 22 carats. So I'll take time to earn it, but God willing, soon.)

Sushmita Sen and Rohman Shawl were in a relationship for several years before parting ways in December 2021. Despite their breakup, the duo has continued to share a strong friendship and are often seen together at social gatherings and family events. Recently, Rohman was spotted at a get-together at Sushmita’s Mumbai residence, reinforcing the bond they still share.
