Sushmita Sen quizzed by fans about her marriage plans: 'milna chahiye koi shaadi ke layak'

Former Miss Universe and actress Sushmita Sen conducted a live session on Monday during which one of her fans asked the actress about her marriage plans.

Sushmita Sen, who was in a relationship with Kashmiri model and actor Rohmann Shawl, said she does want to get married but 'milna chahiye koi shaadi ke layak.'

"I want to get married as well. Milna chahiye na koi shaadi karne layak. Aise thodi hoti hai shaadi. Kehte hai na, bohot romantic way mein toh dil ka rishta hota hai. Dil tak baat toh pahunchni chahiye na. shaadi bhi kar lenge." (There should be someone worthy of marriage. It doesn’t just happen like that. As they say in a very romantic way, it’s a bond of the heart. The feeling should reach the heart, right? Then I’ll get married too.)"

Sushmita made an impressive comeback to the screens in the hit OTT series Arya. She was seen with Chandrachur Singh, Sikander Kher, and many other famous actors. The actress was praised for her performance.

Talking about her personal life, Sushmita and Rohmann Shawl were in a relationship for three years, but they called it quits in 2021. Sushmita and Rohmann are still friends, and they are spotted together at public events as well.

In 2022, IPL founder and former chairman Lalit Modi introduced Sushmita Sen as his "better half'. But the actress never spoke about it in public. However, the two broke up.

It was a year later that Sushmita finally spoke about the relationship in an interview with Mid-Day and called it "just another phase.".

Sushmita was last seen on-screen in a web series, Taali, where she played the role of Gauri Sawant.
