Actor Jim Sarbh recently opened up about his experience working with the late Sushant Singh Rajput during the filming of Raabta (2017), sharing a mix of fond memories and intense behind-the-scenes moments. Speaking to Mashable India, Jim revealed that Sushant accidentally broke his wrist during the filming of an action sequence for the film.
The conversation began as Jim was shown various pictures from his career. One image brought back memories from the second shooting schedule of Raabta in Mauritius. Pointing at the cast on his wrist in the photo, Jim said, “He broke my wrist while we were doing an action sequence.”
Despite the injury, Jim praised Sushant’s dedication to the craft. “He was really good at action. I had spent four days learning the basics at a place in Bangkok where we were taken to learn the whole fight sequence. I hadn’t moved beyond the basics and he came in one day, learned the whole thing,” Jim recalled.
He went on to commend Sushant’s physical discipline and incredible control over his body, especially when it came to dance and action. “He was such a good dancer, and had such good control of his body. He’d done enough action until that point. He was looking good. He was ripped,” he said.
What truly left Jim in awe, though, was Sushant’s intense physical regimen and willpower. He revealed, “I think this morning was the first time he had bread in five months, or something like that. I was wearing a giant muscle suit so I didn’t need to be that ripped.”
