Sunny Deol shared his first look from the film Border 2.

Border 2, starring a powerhouse ensemble cast including Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh, Varun Dhawan, and Ahan Shetty, is one of the most anticipated films on the horizon.

There is already a lot of excitement surrounding the sequel to the classic 1997 war drama Border, and Sunny Deol has fuelled that excitement by posting his eye-catching first glimpse of the movie on social media and announcing that his shoot is now complete.

Sunny captioned his post with a patriotic note, “Mission Accomplished! Fauji, signing off! My shoot wrapped for #Border2. Jai Hind!" The powerful image and message immediately caught the attention of fans and amplified the anticipation surrounding the film.

Ahan Shetty and Varun Dhawan also announced on social media that they had finished filming the Pune portion of the movie. Varun posted a humorous video to Instagram in which he can be seen on set with Ahan, enjoying biscuits and chai. He captioned it, “#Border2 Chai aur bizkoot it’s a wrap for me at NDA Aur humna celebrate kiya bizkoot ke saath.”

Ahan followed suit by posting a heartfelt series of photos and behind-the-scenes video snippets with his co-stars Varun and Diljit. He wrote, “Aur kya hai yeh border..? Bas ek fauji aur uske bhai hain. That’s a wrap in Pune.. onto the next one.”

Helmed by Anurag Singh and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, J.P. Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta, Border 2 is presented by Gulshan Kumar & T-Series in association with J.P. Dutta’s J.P. Films. The film is slated for release on January 23, 2026.
